Jennifer Robin is RAW POWER. She writes about geopolitical disasters

and her mother. She has toured the country with a mix of readings and

music, including appearances at Bumbershoot, the Olympia

Experimental Music Festival, and Portland’s NOFEST. Her list of

collaborators includes the Dead Air Fresheners and Spirit Duplicator.

Robin is the author of Death Confetti (Feral House, 2016) and

Earthquakes in Candyland (Fungasm, 2019). Her journalism and short

prose have been published by PLAZM, Five2One, Counterpunch,

Ladybox Books, and King Shot Press. Her book of vignettes about

Catholic school, French sex, selling boots to foot fetishists, the joyless

chewing of Thanksgiving turkey, and her daily navigation through a

netherland of methed-out survivalists, DESTROY NOTHING (the most

important thing) will be released by Future Tense in 2023. Robin’s Far

West release, You Only Bend Once with a Spoonful of Mercury, is a

collection of dreams written for a live audience on social media. It is the

secret story of the Twentieth Century, and why we are where we are

now.
